Quick five point reference to start your journey as a donor on Advocate.

1. Create your account

Head to www.advocatewithus.com and click "Click Here to Sign Up." Fill out the rest of the details and click Create Account.

1. Find the program you want to view

Advocate is built around nonprofit programs, and you can only sponsor requests within a program. To find your program, do one of two things:

• Click Programs from the menu. This will bring up a searchable list of all programs that are currently seeking donors. You can search for the program you are looking for there.

• If you have a link or an invitation from a nonprofit that was sent to you, click that link to be taken directly to the program.

1. Register as a donor in the program

Click on the View Sponsorship Opportunities button and agree to register as a donor within the program by clicking Accept.

Once you register as a donor, you will be taken to the Sponsorship Opportunities page where you can view households, circumstances, and requests. Click Learn More on any household to be shown more details.

If you choose to sponsor, click the green Sponsor buttons.

For programs that support sponsoring an individual within the household, the Sponsor button will be on their wishlist.

For programs that support sponsoring an entire household, the Sponsor button will be in their household information box.
